SmartBank Announces Officer Appointments

SmartBank recently announced Officer Appointments and Promotions. “All of these associates are very deserving of these promotions,” said President & CEO of SmartBank, Billy Carroll. “We have achieved unprecedented growth in much faster time than originally thought which is largely attributed to our entire staff”. “I feel like we’ve recruited the type of associate that make people want to bank with us”.

Mandy Ogle was named Banking Officer and Branch Manager for the Sevierville branch. Mandy is a Sevier County native that comes to SmartBank with over 6 years of banking experience including Retail Loan Officer, Relationship Banker & Trainer and Branch Management. Mandy lives in Sevierville and is the daughter of Judy and Larry Henderson.

Sonya Conard was promoted to Banking Officer and Assistant Branch Manager for the Sevierville branch. Sonya has several years of management experience with Lowe’s corporation as well as previous banking experience including Financial Services Representative and Branch Management. Sonya is a member of Mountain View Baptist Church in Newport, TN and is the daughter of Linda Conard and Wayne Conard. Sonya has assisted in fundraising efforts with various charitable organizations including Relay for Life, Mission of Mercy and the Alzheimer’s Association.

Kimberley D. Ammons was promoted to Human Resources Officer. Kimberley has 21 years of combined banking and human resources experience, most recently working in human resources and benefit administration with Fort Sanders Sevier Medical Center and The Dollywood Corporation respectively. She is currently pursuing her Bachelors Degree in Organizational Management with a concentration in Human Resources at Tusculum College. Kimberley is a 2003 graduate of Leadership Tomorrow and is actively involved with the Dr. Robert F. Thomas Foundation. She resides in Seymour where she is a member of Bethel United Methodist Church and is the daughter of Sadie and the late Willie J. Ammons, Jr.

Kelley L. Fowler was named Banking Officer and Public Relations & Marketing Coordinator. Kelley has acquired over 19 years of banking experience. She has worked in various areas within the banking industry including Loan Administration, Human Resources/Payroll Processing, Customer Service Representation and Executive Administration. Kelley is a 2005 graduate of Leadership Tomorrow and has assisted in fundraising efforts for Relay for Life and has volunteered for The Friends of the Smokies in their annual telethon. Kelley resides in Sevierville with her husband Michael, and their triplets, Emma, Riley and Logan, age 2.
