SmartBank promotes Hall and names Business Development Specialist

PIGEON FORGE, TN (January 22, 2009) – SmartBank President & CEO, Billy Carroll, recently announced the promotion of Tonya Hall, and the naming of its Business Development Specialist, Erin Will Strance. “I’m pleased to announce the promotion of Tonya Hall to Pigeon Forge Branch Manager and Banking Officer,” said Carroll. “We are fortunate that our growth continues to be strong and much of this is credited to the associates we employ. We are excited that Erin has joined the team as our Business Development Specialist. Both of these associates are true assets to our organization.”

Tonya Hall was promoted to Pigeon Forge Branch Manager and Banking Officer. Tonya joined SmartBank in February 2008 as the Assistant Branch Manager for the Pigeon Forge office. Tonya has been in banking for 24 years and has served in several areas during her banking career including operations, loan assistant and financial services representative. Tonya resides in Sevierville with her husband, Ray.

Erin Will Strance joined the SmartBank team in October 2008 and has been named Business Development Specialist. Erin was previously employed with Marriott Hotels and Resorts in Annapolis, MD as a Sales Manager. Erin is a life long resident of Sevier County graduating from Sevier County High School in 1997 and Cornell University in 2001 with a Bachelor of Science Degree from the School of Hotel Administration. She is the daughter of Rittner and Carolyn Will and resides in Sevierville with her husband, Kye.
