Victor L. Barrett
Director Vic Barrett, a Texas native, has a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a major in Accounting from The University of Texas at El Paso. He became a licensed CPA in Texas and is now licensed in Tennessee. Barrett worked in accounting and finance at various oil related companies in Houston before moving to Pigeon Forge, where he co-founded The Track Recreation Center family entertainment business. The Track Recreation Centers have since expanded to Destin, Fla. and to Gulf Shores, Ala. Barrett is currently a partner, stockholder and executive in those businesses, and he serves on the Board of the Tennessee Museum of Aviation.

William (Bill) Y. Carroll, Sr.
Chairman of the Board & Director of Business Development Bill Carroll started his banking career in 1963 with Hamilton National Bank. He moved to Sevier County in 1972 to help start Citizens National Bank where he later served as President, Chief Executive Officer, and Chairman of the Board of Directors. A veteran of the U.S. Air Force, Bill is a member of the University of Tennessee Board of Trustees and a Board Member of the Federal Home Loan Bank of Cincinnati.

William (Billy) Y. Carroll, Jr.
President & Chief Executive Officer Billy Carroll is a 1990 graduate of the University of Tennessee with a BS degree in Business Administration. He began his banking career in 1992 with Citizens National Bank where he most recently served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer as well as a Director of the bank. A member of the bank's senior management team, he had decision-making responsibility for all major issues, including loan and deposit pricing and managing the bank's $100 million-plus investment portfolio. Billy's background also includes expertise in bank operations, data processing, marketing, interest rate risk management, brokerage, and insurance. He is a Board Member of the Sevierville Planning Commission and Past President of the Sevierville Chamber of Commerce.

Ted C. Miller
Director Ted Miller is the Business Manager and Partner at Dolly Parton Productions. He has 40 years of experience in tourism, recreation, and the development and marketing of themed attractions, and is President of the Dollywood Foundation and The Imagination Library. A former Tennessee Hotel, Motel and Lodging Association Leader of the Year, Miller was appointed to the State Tourism Industry's "Knights of the Roundtable" in 2000.

David A. Ogle
Director David Ogle is Partner and co-founder of Five Oaks Development Group, Sevier County's largest real estate holding partnership. He has a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from East Tennessee State University and a Master's degree in Construction Science and Management from Clemson University. As co-founder and officer in Five Oaks Outlet Centers, Inc., Ogle develops and owns shopping centers and commercial properties, primarily in Sevier and Knox Counties. He is a past Director of the Gatlinburg Chamber of Commerce.

Keith E. Whaley, O.D.
Director Keith Whaley, O.D. is the founder and owner of Whaley Family EyeCare and is Mayor of the City of Pigeon Forge. He attended the University of Tennessee and has a Bachelor's degree in Biology and a Doctor of Optometry from the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis. Whaley is a Past President of the East Tennessee Optometric Society and is a Tennessee Optometric Association Trustee. He is a member of the Pigeon Forge Rotary Club and Past President of the Sevier County chapter of Business Network International.

Geoffrey A. Wolpert
Director Geoff Wolpert is the owner of The Park Grill and The Peddler restaurants in Gatlinburg. After graduating from the University of South Carolina with a degree in business management, he began management training at The Peddler Steak House in Gatlinburg. Since then, he has managed The Peddler and become majority stockholder in the restaurant's parent company. In 1988, he sold all The Peddler Steak Houses except the renamed one in Gatlinburg, and in 1995 he opened The Park Grill. Wolpert was recognized as the 2000 Volunteer of the Year by the Gatlinburg Chamber of Commerce and received the 2004 Leadership Award from the United Way of Sevier County. He is also the founding President of the Gatlinburg Gateway Foundation and serves on the Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts Board of Governors.

Gregory L. Davis
Executive Vice President & Chief Lending Officer Greg Davis is a 1988 graduate of the University of Tennessee with a BS with Honors degree in Finance. He began his career as an examiner for the Tennessee Department of Financial Institutions. In 1998 he joined BB&T as its Vice President and Commercial Lender. He earned the bank's "Sterling Performer for 2002 BB&T East Tennessee Region" as the company's top commercial lender for the region. He became Senior Vice President and the City Executive for BB&T in Sevier County and was responsible for coordinating documentation, credit analysis, and loan reviews for commercial lending as well as prospecting, deposit gathering, product sales, and officer training and coaching. Greg serves on the Board of Directors for the Areawide Development Corporation and is a member of the Loan Approval Committee. He also serves as the Vice-President of the Sevier County High School Alumni Association.

Heather Hubbard Morgan
Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer Heather received her Bachelor of Business Administration and Master in Professional Accounting from The University of Texas in 2000. After college, she worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Austin, Texas, providing tax services for companies and partnerships of all sizes. Heather became licensed in Texas as a Certified Public Accountant in 2001. In 2004, Ms. Hubbard received her J.D., with honors, from The University of Tennessee College of Law, where she served as President of the Student Bar Association and Student Materials Editor of the Tennessee Law Review. Heather was the recipient of the W. Hugh Overcash Tax Law Scholarship, and was awarded for her service to the College of Law with a Dean's Citation. After law school, Heather joined Miller & Martin, PLLC, as an attorney where she was instrumental in starting six state-chartered banks in Tennessee, including SmartBank. Prior to joining SmartBank, Heather rejoined PricewaterhouseCoopers in its New York City office, where she provided equity compensation services for multi-national corporations. Heather joined SmartBank in September 2007 as Vice President and Controller.
